All frames are made to measure.

• Sizes stated should be the overall frame size including any cill and frame extensions (if required).
• All dimensions to be supplied in Metric.
• All frame styles are viewed from outside.
• We do not make any fitting allowances on the sizes you provide. The size you state will be the size we manufacture.

All external cills will need to be included in the overall height.

150mm cill
The most common and standard cill size covers most applications.

210mm cill
If your frame is set further back into the opening then you may require the oversized cill.

Frame Extensions/Add On's

A frame extender allows you to increase the thickness of the frame. Useful for properties with deep plaster, render, tiles or if the window frame sits behind a reveal. 30mm and 50mm extensions are available.

Remember, if you require any extensions, these need to be included in the overall dimensions.

Multi Chambered Profile & Argon Filled Sealed Units – Unbeatable Thermal Efficiency

The frames and sashes are multi chambered and use the power of specialised argon gas to help trap heat between the panes. Our modern double glazed sash windows can make an excellent timber replacement as they achieve an energy rating of ‘A’ and u-value of 1.2 W/m2K. A sash window with a U-value of 1.2 demonstrates excellent thermal performance, indicating minimal heat loss and efficient insulation properties.

Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is upto 5 times as strong as ordinary glass. Toughened safety glass should be fitted in all windows or glazed areas that are lower than 800mm from the floor level.

Laminated Glass

Pilkington Optiphon is an acoustic laminated glass that offers excellent noise reduction without compromising on light transmittance or impact performance. Two pieces of glass are put together with a noise reducing interlayer typically 6.8mm thick. This glass offers the dual benefit of noise reduction and security.
